During the installation process, care must be taken to avoid using fragile materials to make the valve. Before installation, the valve should be inspected to check the valve model to determine whether there is damage, especially to the valve stem. Make a few more turns to see if it is tilted, because it is most likely to hit the tilt bar during transportation. At the same time, clean up the debris in the valve. When lifting the valve, the rope should not be tied to the handwheel or the valve stem, so as not to damage the parts, it should be tied to the flange.
The pipeline used for valve connection, ensure that the pipeline is clean. Compressed air can be used to blow out iron oxide filings, silt, welding slag and other debris. This kind of debris is not only easy to scratch the valve sealing surface, but the large particles (such as welding slag) can also cause the small valve to block and fail.
When installing the valve, you should wrap the sealing packing (wire hemp plus lead oil or PTFE raw material tape) on the pipe thread. Do not put a single-control solenoid valve into the valve, so as not to cause the valve memory and affect the flow of the medium.
When installing the flange door, pay attention to tighten the bolts evenly. The valve flanges and pipeline flanges produced by the current valve manufacturers must be parallel and have a reasonable clearance to prevent the valve from generating excessive pressure or even breaking. Pneumatic solenoid valves should pay special attention to fragile materials and valves with low strength. The valves on the pipeline to be welded should be spot welded first, then all the closing parts should be opened, and then welded to death.
Valve protection device
Some valves also require external protection facilities, namely heat preservation and cooling. Sometimes it is necessary to add heat tracing steam pipes in the insulation layer. Which valve should be insulated or insulated should be determined according to production needs. In theory, if the temperature of the medium in the valve drops too much, which will affect the production efficiency or freeze the valve, it needs heat preservation, and even heat; where the valve is exposed, which is unfavorable to production or causes frosting and other undesirable phenomena, it needs to be kept cold. Thermal insulation materials include asbestos, slag wool, glass wool, perlite, diatomaceous earth, vermiculite, etc.; thermal insulation materials include cork, perlite, foam, plastics, etc.
Water vapor valves that have not been used for a long time must be drained of stagnant water.
