With the wide application of solenoid valves, the production requirements for solenoid valves in the industry are getting higher and higher. More and more attention is paid to the selection of solenoid valve body. There are many selection factors, and we will pay more attention to the corrosion resistance of the valve body material. The problem of anti-corrosion of solenoid valve is very complicated. The solenoid valve body is susceptible to corrosion under the influence of certain acidity, temperature and humidity. It is not only a matter of material, but also a series of factors such as price, market, supply and so on when selecting materials. Therefore, in the solenoid valve industry, the selection of valve bodies is a very knowledgeable issue.
The solid material is brought into the valve, causing the solenoid valve to fail to close properly. Most types of solenoid valves cannot bring any particulate matter into the valve, even very small particles. There was a customer who sent a DN100 water valve back to the factory all the way, and asked us to help repair the solenoid valve of the washing machine. We removed the valve and found a small piece of iron filings on the diaphragm. After removal, the valve body and accessories are cleaned again, and the valve can work normally after being tested again. In the repair process of returning the valve, we will see small rocks, raw material strips, iron filings, and even cockroaches.
In most cases, the outer surface of the valve body is still corroded by air, and the steel materials of the general double-coil solenoid valve are protected by paint. At the same time, in terms of anti-corrosion of the valve body, lining measures such as lead liner, aluminum liner, engineering plastic liner, natural rubber liner and various synthetic rubbers are often adopted. Furthermore, when the pressure and temperature are not high, using non-metallic materials as the valve body material can often resist corrosion very effectively.
The electromagnetic valve
There are two types of corrosion in the valve body: chemical corrosion and electrochemical corrosion. The corrosive rate depends on the temperature, pressure, chemical properties of the medium and the corrosion resistance of the valve body material. Therefore, when selecting materials for solenoid valve manufacturers, we have to consider many factors.
Insufficient voltage causes the solenoid valve to fail to open normally. Especially for lower voltages such as DC24VDC12VAC24V, it is necessary to ensure that the fluctuation range of the voltage does not exceed 10%. If the power supply voltage is lower than 10% of the rated voltage, it may cause the solenoid valve to fail to open normally.
